LemonHead Kidz Review

I have a lot of hair. I also have 2 daughters: 1 has thin baby hair and 1 has thick hair. That is a lot of hair to try to wrangle in 1 household and a lot of different types of hair. So I am always searching for the perfect hair clips that will hold all of our hair and (hope against hope) will stay in the baby's hair. So you can imagine how excited I was when I received products from LemonHead Kidz!

They sent me a great clipeez with a beautiful yellow flower on it. This I really liked! The clip had a rubber block in it that made sure it didn't slip out of anyone's hair. I was able to use this in all 3 of our hair and it looked adorable! They have all different types of flowers, bows and butterflies to choose from for really great clips.

I also received a bandeez hairband. This was a beautiful piece of ribbon that gathered in the back to help secure it in your hair. One of the key parts of the bandeez is a strip that grips on your hair to prevent it from falling out. I can say it stayed in the 5 year olds but didn't work that well in mine. The strip grabbed little pices of hair so it wouldn't fall out but it didn't hold very much of my hair back at all.

So I have to say that while the bandeez didn't work great for me, the clipeez were great. So go over to LemonHead Kidz and check them out!

GearZap

I recently got a chance to review a neat website called GearZap. This probably isn’t a surprise to anyone but, I love gadgets. This means that I love looking at websites with lots of fun toys on them. GearZap’s site is really easy to navigate. They have very clear tabs at the top that help you navigate through the site to find specific items. GearZap has brand name lists so you can see everything that is compatible with your specific Netbook. If all of that were to possibly fail you, they have a great search bar up at the top that finds things based on your keyword entry.

I love the idea of Netbooks and, while I haven’t bought one yet, I like looking at all the accessories and toys that are made for them. That will probably be the thing to convince me to buy one. GearZap has all kinds of cool Netbook accessories and Netbook cases. I really like the fact that they have so many choices of sleeves and skins for the Netbooks at such low prices. That way you can totally change the look based on your season, or really your kid’s season or mood.

But it doesn’t just have stuff for Netbooks. It also has loads of laptop accessories. They have the cool flexible keyboards (which I love!), travel mice and a ton of other tools. You can check out Bluetooth toys also like speakers. Unfortunately, they don’t carry any laptops covers or anything along those lines.

Now, here is the big caveat. This is a United Kingdom company and they only will ship out to the United Kingdom or European Union countries. So as great as I think their site might be, I can not order from them.

So go over to GearZap and let me know what you think. Or if you have ever ordered from them let me know what your experience is!

Side-Yard Superhero Review

I recently received a copy of The Side-Yard Superhero (Life in Degraff: An Automythography) by Rick Niece and it was delightful. The author calls this an Automythography. It is the first time I heard that term but I think it is sweet. This is the tale of his childhood exploits as a paper boy in a small town. It was a book of innocent anecdotes about the various personalities on his route and in his life. I really enjoyed this book. This is the first of a series and I can't wait to read more. I think that my 8 year old will also be enoying this book. So if you are looking for a sweet, innocent book that leaves you feeling good this is the book for you. So go order it and give it to others!

One Time Review

I have been afraid of having wood outside. There I have admitted it. I am afraid of the upkeep. I have seen to many decks, siding and deck furniture that is just bleached out and sad looking. The issue is that it is nice enough to be outside in Fresno pretty much all year long. That plastic furniture has to replaced just about every year and natural wood siding looks so much better painted.

Well, there maybe a solution to my fear. I got a chance to try One TIME Wood Protector (in order to review it) and I was very pleased. To start with, you couldn't see any brush strokes. This is a relief because stressing about brush strokes has always been a huge deterrent to these type of projects. I loved the fact that this was actually soaked into the wood. I did a side by side with a competitor's sealer and theirs just sat on top. It also spread across my line. The material says that it covers twice as much square footage as the competitor and after watching spread I tend to agree. I also am happy about the fact it is for all kinds of wood (old, new, natural, treated) and that it works for at least 7 years.

If you want to try this great product One TIME Wood Protector is offering my readers 10% off! Just use the code One TIME on their website.
